Romford Underfoot – The competition brief set out was to develop a set of vinyl prints to go on the pavements of Romford, Greater London. The aim is to have a ‘Graphic Design trail’ around the town for residents and visitors to follow. The designs should be visually stimulating, relating to Romford in some way and effectively communicate to the people who use the area.

Through my observations I chose to focus on what I found positive about the area; the humour, open conversations, friendly atmosphere and a sense of national and personal pride.
