Who Cares?

Editorial / Photography

We all have parents. Some of us have children. Some of us have fond childhood memories as well as bad ones. We all though, have thoughts of what an ideal childhood should be like. Most who have children love and aim to care as best they can for their kids, to work hard to give them the world and more.

What then happens when parental dreams are shattered and the role is reversed where the child, whatever their age, has to care for the parent due to illness? What impact does this have on the child? Their relationships, education, career and health?

This project is designed to bring awareness of what is experienced by those who care, especially as it’s something that will effect 3 in 5 of us at some point in our lives.
